I have worked closely with Betty Davis for almost a year and find her to be an honest, hardworking, and sincere person.  Betty first contacted me in September of 2006 to pitch a story idea she believed would provide critical information to our viewers.  Betty was right.  Together we produced a series of reports warning consumers about the serious dangers of unsanitary nail salons.  Betty's undercover video led to a state raid on salons that were violating health and safety regulations.  Next, Betty took her crusade to the state legislature.  She convinced a local state representative to file a bill that would give broader enforcement powers to the state regulatory agency that oversees salons.  Throughout the project, Betty never lost her focus or her enthusiasm for protecting consumers.  I continue to be impressed by her unwavering determination to make a significant and lasting impact on the nail salon industry.
